Per Svalja Yoga, where I completed this training, identifies this type of yoga practice as being gentle and slow. "A combination of moving and stillness. An opportunity to reconnect mind, body and spirit and settle your nervous system. An invitational environment cultivating self-awareness and trust in your own inner-knowing. Supportive of your unique healing journey." Gentle and quiet ambient music will accompany this practice.
This type of mindfulness practice is offered as a gentle conclusion to our shared Trauma Conscious Yin Yoga practice together.
I will invite you to listen to my voice as I guide you into a space of deep rest as you explore your own inner landscape. This practice may include: a guided tour of beautiful spaces in nature, a relaxing body scan, and/or the soothing words of a selected poem.
